Internationally renowned luxury broker Aaron Kirman needed a tech- and brand-savvy partner to build a digital presence as bold as his record-setting deals and as exclusive as his clientele.

The challenge
Aaron Kirman does not blend in. Representing clients from royal families to Hollywood mega-stars, his record-setting deals across Southern California add up to $22 billion in career sales. His blunt, straight-talk style and frequent appearances on CNBC (including his hit show Listing Impossible) have made him one of the most recognizable names in real estate.
But his website told a different story.
Instead of reflecting Kirman’s unique brand and industry leadership, his site was built on a template that looked like every other top-producing agent. The result was a diluted brand presence, a poor fit for the brokerage’s direction, and technical limitations from their WordPress backend that stifled growth.
“The problem with this business is everybody copies everyone,” Kirman said. “If you’re not thinking out of the box, and if you’re not setting up a marketing and advertising strategy, nobody knows you. And if nobody knows you, you’re out of business.”
Matt Momberger, creative director for Christie’s International Real Estate | Southern California, knew it was time for a new direction. “We’re doing ourselves a huge disservice to have the exact same elements in an already saturated field,” he said. “The fact that he doesn’t have to worry about SEO … coupled with [Luxury Presence’s] ability to do a lot of the ads, it’s very efficient,” Momberger said. “Having a good, solid team behind that was probably a huge benefit for us looking forward.”
